The Toilet Paper Drive
We held a toilet paper drive for the DAWN Center, a local organization which provides temporary shelter and long term counseling for battered women. The shelter is always in need of toilet paper, laundry detergent, gas cards and personal hygiene products. For every package of toilet paper our clients brought in, they were able to pick a set of exercises they wanted their trainers to perform. This fun event gained several hundred rolls of toilet paper for the DAWN Center and allowed clients to be the trainer for the day!
Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk, October 2009
We created a team of amazing women to help raise money for breast cancer and walk in the breast cancer 3 Day walk. This team raised over $23000 for Susan G Komen and walked 60 miles in honor of those who have fought breast cancer. Thank you to Dlites, Brooksville Beef O Brady’s, Pollo Viejo, Car Max, Pit Stop and the Hernando Quilters Guild for being an amazing support of this event.
